What does it cost to download my photos?
Nothing, ever. Every photo on PacePics downloads at full resolution, with no watermark, no account and no payment. Whoever creates the event covers the cost, so athletes never have to.
When can I find my photos after a race?
As soon as the organizer publishes the gallery, which is often the same day. Bib detection reads each photo as it finishes uploading, so searching your bib number is instant once the gallery is live.
What if the search misses one of my photos?
Bib detection is very good, not perfect: a bib can be twisted, covered or out of frame. You can browse the whole gallery as well as search, so a photo the AI missed is still one you can find and download.
Photographers
Do I need an account to upload?
No. The organizer sends you a magic upload link. You open it, drag your shoot in, and you are done. You keep full copyright, and galleries credit you by default. Make an account when you want the profile that comes with it: a portfolio at your own username, and a way for organizers to find you.

What does it cost to host an event?
Events up to 500 photos are free. Above that it is one flat fee per event, from $19, paid once when you publish. There is no subscription, nothing per athlete, and nothing charged to your photographers.
Who decides when the gallery goes public?
You do. Photographers upload into a private event and nothing is visible to athletes until you publish it. You can review, hide individual photos, and publish when the gallery is ready.
